1. I've heard WorkerAnts is the smarter way to
donate money to charity. Why? WorkerAnts has listings of thousands
of charities. This means you can research all your options, narrow
down your search to a particular kind of charity (i.e.. animal shelters
or feeding the homeless, etc..) and then search for the one organization
you feel would put your gift to the greatest use.
2. Where do I find charities? Our charitable
and nonprofit organizations are all listed in the Organizations
section.
3. How can WorkerAnts
help me do research? WorkerAnts lists hundreds of journals,
e-zines, databases, webrings, and more in our Library
so that you can more easily find information related to charitable,
volunteer, and activist causes.
4. How can WorkerAnts help me find work?
WorkerAnts lists volunteer jobs, internships, and full time positions
links on our Volunteer
& Job Opportunities page in the Your
Needs section.
5. What if I am a volunteer and I want to
talk to other volunteers? We have two options available for
you. First, you can go to our chat rooms. The majority of people
who chat at WorkerAnts are volunteers or have volunteered at one
time. Second, you can search through our Your
Story section. Here you will find personal accounts of people
who have worked all over the world for causes they believe in.
6. How can WorkerAnts help me if I'm traveling
overseas? WorkerAnts has many helpful pages in our Your
Needs section for just such a case. Find housing , plan your
itinerary, look at travel guides, find transportation, purchase
supplies, read health advisories, contact embassies, and even learn
about home schooling your children by browsing through our helpful
links.
7. If I still cannot
find what I need, what do I do? Write to us and tell us your
